Hey just wanted to remind people to please check out the forums and spread the word. There are so many great plot bunnies just waiting to be written!

I've added new sections since I last posted on this site. I've added a section for abandoned fics. That's for when you've got a fic you haven't updated in forever and you really don't think you ever will, perhaps if you post said fic someone else will take it on and finish what you started. I've also made a small section where you can post idea's for small scenes that aren't quite big enough to make a whole fic or even a oneshot, but they might help inspire someone already doing a WIP and they could use the small scene in their fic to help bring the story along a bit more.

Also a quick reminder, once you've adopted a bunny please don't forget you've done it. There are a few bunnies that have been adopted and i'm not sure anything has come from it. Maybe the original poster hasn't checked back and seen that someone has picked it up, or perhaps the person that picked it up has simply forgotten about it or something. Please don't let this happen. If you are working on the fic it might be great to just occasionally pop on the the boards just to give maybe a status update because a few people are interested in reading these stories :)

And please remember to spread the word!!

Hi, you can probably see not much has happened still :( Many bunnies have been picked up now but we know writing is a long process sometimes.

However the point of this post is to ask for help... this blog won't work if people don't join in :( Even if you don't have a bunny or want to pick one up, it would still be awesome if you could hang out in the general board and talk about whatever with us. If people see the forum being active they might be more likely to play along and more bunnies can be picked up and given away.

If anyone has any idea of other features we could add to make it more exciting then please share :) I'm still new to this whole website stuff so any help and ideas would be awesome!

How you can help

Hey guys!

So we have plot bunnies up for adoption now and a few bunnies have been picked up already!

But what we REALLY need is more people on the forums interacting. You can talk about what ever you want on there! Just join in, chat, make friends and stuff. For the site to really work we just need to make sure it gets used. It won't work if it just stays our small group of people.

So we really need you to help spread the word and get people to join the forums! Join in the more random topics and simply get to know each other! :) So far the forum has 22 members lets try and increase that!

I just created a forum. This is where most of the plot sharing will take place as it allows for easy discussion. It's also a place to hang out and make new friends. So please come and visit and register and get chatting!

How the site will work

Ok at the moment this is still sort of in ideas stage and kind of fail looking as you can see. What I aim to do with this site though is make a place where people can come and leave a plot bunny they really like but haven't got the time to write. Or when you really want to write something but your mind just keeps drawing blanks inspiration wise.

I want to offer 2 different types of adoption. Open adoption would be when the person that created the plot bunny would continue to communicate with the author that decided to take it on. For example if the author gets stuck they would turn to the plot bunny maker person and see what they think should happen next. It'd be up to the people involved just how much imput the plot bunny person would keep throughout the writing process, but it could become a beautiful partnership :)

A closed adoption would be simply posting the plot bunny and walking away. Just leave the bunny wrapped in some warm blankets at the door and run away.

All plot bunny creators should be credited at the start of the fic because it's only fair. Unless of course the person doesn't wish to be credited.

I'm going to try and figure out a way to make this site run as smoothly as possible and for it to be a fun place to come hang out and discuss writing fics, giving each other tips and hopefully making a few new friends :)
